In this workshop students learn how to paint the clothed figure based on a clear understanding of human structure and forms, the relationship between values and colors; and the techniques of painting clothed figure will be introduced and practiced.
Working from a live model, students will explore how fabric, light, and form come together to create compelling and dynamic paintings.
Rooted in classical academic training, this course will help students sharpen their observation skills and deepen understanding of painting fundamentals.
Students will tackle key challenges such as anatomy beneath clothing, proportion, composition, and how to simplify folds from fabrics.
Through step-by-step guidance, student artists will develop a clear, structured approach to clothed figure painting—one that they can continue applying after the workshop ends.
