The class -- for beginner and advanced artists -- will be held on Wednesday evenings from 18-21 hrs. In April, four classes are scheduled starting on April 3rd.

The aim of this course will be to give the students a clear strategy and techniques for mastering one of the biggest challenges in traditional art: drawing the figure from life. The class will include demos on set-up and anatomical construction as well as some theory on drawing from observation and rendering light and form as it applies to the human figure. In April, we will be applying the fundamentals to a 4-week long figure drawing from one live model, aiming for a fully rendered finish.
